Welcome to the Internet home of Rosebud’s Very Own … KOYA Radio!

We are gearing up our new media efforts to bring the Rosebud Sioux Tribe’s very first tribally-owned and -operated venture to the rest of the world. KOYA Radio is the only tribally-licensed radio station on the Rosebud Reservation and represents the unique and original perspective of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

The programming format of KOYA is primarily Classic Hits, excluding country music. It also boasts educational programming such as “The Loh Down on Science with Sandra Tsing-Loh,” “Bird Note,” “Bioneers: Revolution from the Heart of Radio” and “Isla Earth.” Recent programming additions include “Live with Jim Thompson,” “National Native News,” and “Under Currents.”

Original programming includes “Monday Night Live with The Wildman” that features local recording and performing artists of every genre, including gospel, rock, blues, acoustic, traditional Lakota music with exclusive interviews with the artists.

Keep coming back for more as we keep our nose to the grindstone!
